Product Recall An insurance program that covers disease has been developed to protect growers from many of the expenses associated with a recall. DEALING with a produce recall is not a pleasant task for any grower, to say the least. Unfortunately, at press time we are in the midst of another produce crisis involving tomatoes tainted with Salmonella.
